One of those at the forefront of the Occupy Wall Street activity beginning this past autumn was eminent University of London anthropologist David Graeber. His writing has long had sway and influence in academic and political circles—that has changed dramatically with Occupy Wall Street and the publication of his recent book, Debt: the First 5,000 Years. Graeber also contributed to YES! Magazine's newest independent anthology, This Changes Everything: Occupy Wall Street and the 99% Movement, edited by YES! Magazine' co-founder and executive editor, Sarah van Gelder (speaking at Elliott Bay Book Company on Friday, January 13th).
