Udaipur, India as a Learning City

Launched in 2000 by the Shikshantar Institute, Udaipur as a Learning City (ULC) is an innovative process to explore what the Gandhian practice of swaraj (self-rule) means in the context of urban India today.

It is an open invitation to people of all ages and backgrounds in Udaipur to explore ways of living and learning that are more balanced, more meaningful, more just and honest for them.
